FAQs

I am a new patient, what do I need to bring to my appointment?
In an effort to speed up your check-in time, please complete the appropriate forms prior to your arrival at our facility. Also, please remember to bring your insurance card, photo ID and a list of your current medications.

What do I do in case of an emergency?
In the case of an emergency, call 911. Our office welcomes same day visits for non-emergent urgent care problems. We are affiliated with Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

How do I have my medications refilled?
You may contact our office at (843) 971-3361 and choose 'option 5'  to leave a message for a nurse. Please be sure to include your name, date of birth, a phone number where we can reach you, the medication name and strength, and the pharmacy information. In order to better serve our patients, we ask that you allow 24 hours on routine prescriptions, and 48 hours on controlled substances.

Why don't I have more refills on prescriptions that I take regularly?
The doctors will prescribe enough medication to last until your next recommended visit. The doctor will want to check you periodically depending on your diagnosis.

Will my visit be covered by insurance?
Most visits are covered by insurance. Depending on your insurance there is a designated co-payment for the office visit. Please contact your insurance carrier with specific questions about coverage.
